To fix master-layout inheritance, delete any layout placeholders that arent inheriting the bullets, then replace them with a new placeholder. Set otemp = otext. To fix theme-master inheritance, select each piece of text on the slide master and ensure the font name has (Body) or (Headings) after it. The key is that the slidemaster is a separate entity from the regular slides and must be looked at differently. I then did some digging to get a real answer. It is an insult to the spirit of this board. If you close (Slide Master - Close Master View) the master view and look at your presentation you will see that all the slides with the Title and Content layout. I have used this board for quite a while but have not joined until I read the above reply.
